Woah wow, okay...
I'm falling back into old patterns. Haven't updated in a while. But unlike a few years ago, I can't bring myself to feel guilty; art will appear when it's ready.
Part of my problem is - I'm a student again!! Which I'm actually pretty excited about, but that means I have little free time; my brain hasn't been worked this hard in years. In fact I should be studying for a test right now but, true to form, I'm putting it off till the last minute.
I am still working on my long term project, but it's coming along veeerry slowly. Thats officially on the back burner now. And I've also started a new watercolor painting of a moth in the same vein as my Dog Days painting (which I can hopefully put up here soon). I've become obsessed with winged insects, apparently. Somehow I managed the gumption to sign myself up for an art exhibit at a local gallery, and if I can build a small collection of paintings that are related to each other in some way, that would be awesome.
However it's more likely that this exhibit will also be thrown together at the last minute, with a little bit of all my stuff, old and new, tossed in 'cuz I just can't get my crap together.
And that's cool too.
